What's the purpose of the trial?

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, preliminary efficacy, cellular kinetics, and other exploratory endpoints of AZD4045 as a monotherapy and in association with daratumumab and aldesleukin for the treatment of adult participants with RRMM.

Experimental Treatments

  • Interleukin-2 is an immunotherapy drug used to treat several different indications. It works to help certain parts of your immune system to increase production of immune cells.
  • Daratumumab is a type of cancer drug called a monoclonal antibody. Daratumumab attaches to a protein called CD38, which is present in high numbers on the surface of multiple myeloma cells, as well as on certain other types of cells, such as red blood cells.
  • AZD4045 is a type of therapy called an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) Therapy that targets the BCMA protein found on the surface of some myeloma cells.
