What's the purpose of the trial?

The goal of this prospective observational study is to understand changes in urinary and blood biomarkers associated with acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma and being treated with Daratumumab SC.

  • Daratumumab is a type of cancer drug called a monoclonal antibody. Daratumumab attaches to a protein called CD38, which is present in high numbers on the surface of multiple myeloma cells, as well as on certain other types of cells, such as red blood cells.
