Phase 2, Single-Arm Study of Iberdomide, Daratumumab, Carfilzomib, and Dexamethasone (Iber-KDd) in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma

What's the purpose of the trial?

The investigators want to find out whether or not giving patients who have relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (MM) the experimental medication combination iberdomide, carfilzomib, daratumumab, and dexamethasone (Iber-KDd) may produce better results than the current (standard of care) treatments.

  • Acetaminophen is an analgesic medication that is commonly used to treat minor pain and to reduce fevers.
  • Carfilzomib Carfilzomib is a kind of medication called a proteasome inhibitor that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Carfilzomib is used in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
  • Daratumumab is a type of cancer drug called a monoclonal antibody. Daratumumab attaches to a protein called CD38, which is present in high numbers on the surface of multiple myeloma cells, as well as on certain other types of cells, such as red blood cells.
